Some things never change.

Daniel is a veteran agency developer and freelancer who learned great processes at Tighten, one of the best Laravel shops in the world. John is a PM who spent years building successful processes for early-stage startups — figuring out how to ship fast without letting things fall through the cracks. We've been close friends since college. After years of talking shop, we finally started Thunk together.

We absolutely cannot stand broken processes. And we could not stand using Harvest or Bonsai.

The client work went great. But we kept running into the same operational problems every agency faces: projects creeping past budget, invoices going unpaid for weeks, clients unsure where things stood. Not because anyone was doing a bad job, but because the tools we were using made it hard to stay on top of everything.

So we built Tidy — a single app that enforces the best practices we learned the hard way. Time tracking, scheduling, invoicing, profitability, client portals, and agreements, all in one place. No more juggling. No more gaps.
